Chris Adkins is a resident of Georgetown, Kentucky with over 35 years of manufacturing experience, specializing in continuous improvement, production engineering, maintenance management, equipment design, energy management, renewable energy, data systems, data base reporting, and skilled labor training. Having worked for Toyota Motors Manufacturing for over 30 years, Chris is very rooted in all aspects of TPS and modern manufacturing methodology. He has held leadership positions in maintenance, engineering, human resources, plant facilities, and information systems and has established requirements for, administrated and implemented management systems, including PeopleSoft and Maximo, across all of Toyota North America’s 20 companies. At home, Chris has been married for 30 years and has a 17-year-old son. He is very active in the community as a Boy Scout leader and robotics teacher/mentor. He serves as a member of KUIC, the Ky. Green Schools Coalition, the Scott Co. Schools Energy Board, and advisor to the Harrison Co. Economic Development Cabinet.
